Energy Security for the Outer Hebrides.
Katherine's feasibility study of a zero-import island energy system informed Barra and Vatersay (Western Isles in Scotland) of various strategic paths and outcomes towards creating long-term energy security for their community. The findings and possibilities of this study are being executed through many subsequent projects throughout all of the Outer Hebrides Isles. Contact us to learn more.
Gender and Energy in Sub-Saharan Africa.
Maty has examined the intersection of gender and social inclusion with energy systems in sub-Saharan Africa and has performed extensive research on the impacts of women-led SMEs on the renewable energy revolution. Drawing on this experience, we have found that women's voices are often the key to a successful sustainable transition. Contact us for more information!
Life Cycle Assessment and Carbon Accounting.
Michelle consulted with an emerging energy storage system to determine the best routes for a low-carbon, low-environmental-impact future for their product as compared to conventional energy storage methods (batteries, pumped hydropower, etc.). We have drawn on this experience to provide insights into carbon accounting and reduction on a number of projects. Learn more about carbon accounting by contacting us!
